Alpaca Walking Socks – British Made Luxury
Alpaca Walking Socks are designed to keep your feet very warm and comfortable. The thick cushioned sole provide additional comfort, making them hard-wearing and yet soft. Alpaca offers excellent insulation and wicking properties.
I have made these socks are ankle length with a ribbed cuff and plain knitted body on the outside. I have the socks knitted to my specifications by a traditional, family run sock manufacturer in the Midlands. The yarn from which they are knitted is spun and dyed for us here in the UK too.
These socks are ideal for both men and women. The three unisex sizes, small (shoe size 4-7), medium (8-10) and large (11-13). For EU Shoe Sizes and foot sizes, please see the Sizing Guide on every product page.
I offer these socks in six solid colours: Damson, Olive, Black, Dark Green, Natural White, Navy and Red. I have decided to phase out the Dark Green colour and replace it with Olive and replace the Navy with a Royal Blue instead.
Composition: 75% Alpaca / 25% Nylon. I include nylon as it provides enough stretch to give a good fit.
I use predominantly natural fibres, so please remember to read the care information.
Returns and Exchanges
If you wish to return unwanted items, please post them back to us, unworn, and with their original packaging within 28 days. Please include details of your original order or where you purchased the item. We can only refund or exchange items purchased directly from us.
We will refund the cost of your original purchase (excluding delivery charges) once we have received the goods. You may want to send the items by tracked and/or Signed-for service as we can not be responsible for items lost in transit.
For more information, view our full Delivery and Returns information page.
Our natural fibre, unisex socks are kinder to your feet than synthetic alternatives, but this means they need a gentle wash. We recommend our alpaca and wool socks are gently hand washed in tepid water and rinsed and wrung out by hand (a vigorous machine wash or spin with too much detergent may result in shrinkage).
Leave to dry naturally and do not put in a tumble dryer.
