Great thermal insulators, alpaca and wool socks specifically designed to be very warm and hard-wearing unisex walking socks.
The Alpaca Terry Loop Socks are ankle length. They have a ribbed cuff and plain knit body on the outside. The knitted loops on the inside provide the additional padding and warmth. There are three unisex sizes, small (shoe size 4-7), medium (8-10) and large (11-13).
Composition: 42% Alpaca / 29% British Wool / 29% Nylon.
These Alpaca Terry Loop Walking Socks are designed to keep your feet very warm and comfortable. The Terry Loop construction gives even cushioning all over the socks, as well as making the socks hard-wearing. Alpaca and wool offer excellent insulation and wicking properties, keeping your feet warm and dry. These Alpaca Terry Loop socks make ideal walking socks for both men and women.

There are three unisex sizes, small (shoe size 4-7), medium (8-10) and large (11-13). The nylon content provides enough stretch to give a good fit.
These socks are knitted in a coloured alpaca yarn with a parchment wool yarn to create a marled effect. The cuff is knitted in a single colour, although we do still have a few variations with a marled cuff. The yarn is spun and dyed in the UK and the socks knitted to our specifications by a traditional, family run sock manufacturer in the UK Midlands.
The knitter has used the wrong yarn on some of the Moss/Parchment medium socks. In place of the moss yarn in the body of the sock, he has knitted with an undyed alpaca yarn. It’s a very nice sock still – it’s just it looks a bit different to the usual Moss/Parchment combination. I’ve called it Parchment/Moss but it’s still got a moss cuff.
The yarn has not been chemically treated, so please wash and dry these socks gently.

Care Information
Our natural fibre, unisex socks are kinder to your feet than synthetic alternatives, but this means they need a gentle wash. We recommend our alpaca and wool socks are gently hand washed and rinsed in tepid water, squeezing gently rather than wringing. A vigorous machine wash (whatever the temperature) with too much detergent or long spin, may result in shrinkage.
Leave to dry naturally and do not put in a tumble dryer.
